Victor is a chartered accountant by profession with a passion for technical accounting. He headed technical accounting divisions in Johannesburg and Pretoria since 2017, served articles at PwC and has worked at various accounting firms since qualifying including a short-term stint in the Cayman Islands.

Victor was educated at the University of Cape Town where he obtained his Bachelor’s degree and subsequently obtained a Master’s degree in Accounting at the University of Johannesburg.  He also studied elementary French at Allianz Francaise in Johannesburg.

He has experience in GRAP accounting (South Africa) and participates in the GRAP forum for accounting standards. He has also participated in IFRS 17 implementation for insurance companies. He has conducted training on various accounting standards and has also provided accounting opinions on IFRS standards. He has also been involved in the review of financial statements to ensure compliance with IFRS.
